Alexander Saliba

Alexi was born in Trenton, New Jersey, to his parents Dalal and Jean who are of Lebanese decent. His father, Jean, was born in Northern Lebanon as one of eight children and in his early twenties immigrated to New Jersey to join his older brother in starting up a car business. His mother, Dalal Bahou was born in Beirut and later immigrated to Boston Massachusetts before moving to New Jersey to marry Alexi's father Jean.Alexi is the middle child of two brothers. His brother George is 1 1/2 years older than him and his other brother Jean is 8 years younger. Growing up, Alexi had the wildest imagination of the three, always telling stories, always bringing drama home and to school, singing, dancing, and entertaining seemed to be the things that made Alexi who he was. He quickly became one of the most outgoing kids as he made friends wherever he went. Not particularly book smart due to his stubborn attitude towards school, Alexi grew up learning things the hard way, by experiencing everything in question for him self; in short Alexi grew up extremely street smart and is quick to read people as well as his surroundings. Realizing that everything he felt as if everything he saw was being viewed through the eyes of a lens, he quickly fell in love with the idea of being a well established actor through the light of Film and Television. Always watching, observing and imitating, Alexi quickly had found his niche before ever admitting it himself. Probably given the fact that he always looked up to his older brother, Alexi found himself joining George in a lot of the things that he pursued, mainly sports.Alexi and his brother George were huge into sports growing up; they were gifted swimmers and divers for the Lawrenceville Swim and Drive team from ages 5-13, where they were raised in New Jersey until they moved to the next town over in Hopewell NJ before 6th grade. When they moved to Hopewell, they both found a new love in the sport of wrestling. The two joined the wrestling team in Middle school and quickly became acclimated to the sport. By the time they were in High school, they were huge threats to everyone in Mercery County, and towards the tail end of High School, they were threats to everyone in the state of New Jersey in their given weight classes.Alexi struggled to keep focus on academics like math, history and science, however he thrived in English, or whenever it was up to his imagination to write something. The one sure subject was performing Arts, which he took every year since middle school. In high school, his performing arts teacher always urged him to audition for plays, but his commitment to football and wrestling always held him back from doing so. In Alexi's senior year, he decided to accept who he really is and plan more for his future. Alexi was a class clown and an entertainer wherever he went and everyone in school knew it. His senior year, he decided to pursue Acting in college, after having a talk with his teacher, he decided that after the wrestling season he was going to audition for Romeo and Juliet; after booking a role in the play, Alexi was sure Acting was what he wanted to study in college and for the rest of his life.
