Stephen Brown

Stephen Brown was born on May 3rd, 1987 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He began his football coaching career at his alma mater, the University of Tennessee, where he worked for three season as a student assistant under Head Coach Phillip Fulmer. In 2009 Brown moved to Syracuse University where he served on the coaching staff as a quality control coach and director of recruiting. Brown played a role in revamping the team which led to seven wins during the 2010 season and bowl game victories in 2010 and 2012. Brown made is NFL coaching debut in 2013, serving as the assistant to the head coach/special teams assistant. In 2014, Brown's special teams unit finished the year second in the NFL and first in the AFC. Brown joined the Dallas Cowboys just before the 2016 season to facilitate the coordination of the running game in addition to serving as Head Coach Jason Garrett's point person for research projects and day to day operations. Since joining the club, Stephen Brown has worked with a group of elite, record setting running backs that finished second in the league in rushing yards in 2016, led by superstar Ezekiel Elliot.
