Lincolnshire born Thea Balich first appeared on our screens on the run from the government in Type Rare. Then after counselling a soldier with PTSD in Battlescars, picking up the pieces in The Solivagant, she created havoc in The Lizard's Tail. More mess ensued in Art? before tragedy hit In The Stars and happiness was restored in Fairyland in Away With The Fairies. After embarrassing Daniel as kooky Naomi in Get Lost and hosting chat shows in Jigsaw Feeling & The Ambrosia Effect she then nursed a wounded soldier whilst being held hostage in the film Meanwhile before manipulating the whole cast of Upstage. Overly protective Heather fiercely fought for her son's rehabilitation in BBC1's Doctors before remaining on BBC1 and efficiently assuming her duties in the Home Office as Ava Eddingham, the principal private secretary to Julia Montague in Bodyguard.
