Victor Schmitt

Victor L. Schmitt entered into the entertainment world 30 years ago as an international model and actor. He was initially drawn to the industry due to its non-traditional mold. Schmitt has always had a strong independent drive and sought to make a name for himself on the global scale. During this time period, he had the distinct privilege of working with some of the top designers, such as: Armani, Hugo Boss, Valentino and many more. Schmitt was exposed to all different cultures and people, which gave him a unique perspective on the entertainment business.After returning home to Louisiana, Schmitt noticed a real opportunity in the local fashion scene. Wanting to do justice by his mentors, he became the editor of Louisiana's first fashion magazine, LOCALWEAR. Schmitt was able to bring in prominent photographers and models due to the relationships he cultivated throughout the years. He continued to work in the print scene as the fashion editor of 225 Magazine. In addition to his print work, Schmitt owns and operates Victor's International Model & Talent Management, which represents national talent in all mediums. His eye for talent has given him the ability to sign local talent to major contracts by using his network of top modeling and acting agencies throughout the country.All of these past experiences with many diverse cultures made Schmitt's transition into the world of film a natural progression. Gold Star Films is the perfect creative outlet for Schmitt. He has spiritually been part of the team for decades since he once served as Joey Tufaro's childhood basketball coach. Schmitt hopes to continue developing scripts from the ground level and elevating them into great feature films that a wide audience can enjoy.
