Season 8 returns to a host of new and exciting events. The opening of the season, where there is a plot to assassinate the President of the Islamic Republic in the United Nations building comes to the attention of Jack Bauer. On the other hand, CTU is holding a reporter who is suspected of helping in the killings, while Jack and Chloe begin their own investigations, which can reveal many new events.
